The Earth’s natural beauty is my teacher, and my muse. I have traveled to many places in search of inspiration, beauty, and Truth. Our world is becoming more and more disconnected from Nature, as technology continues to take hold of us… These images are an invitation to remember where we came from, and to regain our deeper connection to the Earth.
Using a variety of film cameras, these photographs are hand printed in the darkroom. Each print is one of a kind, and a large amount of passion and hands on work goes into every one. Using photographic enlargers, I use light to manipulate the images to my unique vision. I portray this work from a place of intuition and interpretation, leaning towards the abstract and surreal. Once an image is realized in the darkroom, a small edition is made- usually between 5-15 prints.
